Why “SparkUpBlue”:
The Story of Our Brand.

A bright yellow lemon with a textured skin, positioned against a black background.

Once upon a time in Marrakesh, two senior executives shared a dream. They dreamt about how it would be to feel free, to do what you love every day and act with purpose greater than profit. They imagined an alternative approach to work, business, transformation: driven by purpose and designed to deliver impact. Energizing, creative, out of ordinary.

That sparked an idea. Right there and then, under the warmth of the sun high up in the sky, with a limitless horizon of the deep blue sea in mind, SparkUpBlue was born.

SparkUpBlue, an embodiment of a business with a purpose, inspired by diversity, focused on impact.

SparkUpBlue stands for freedom: freedom to explore, to forge sincere relations, to create and be authentic.

SparkUpBlue does what is right, even when no one is watching.

SparkUpBlue is a partner: with you, for you, all the way.

SparkUpBlue is our dream that we dared turn into reality.

  • I am a runner. A marathoner.
Less because I enjoy running, more because I am drawn to what it demands. Focus. Discipline. Patience. The quiet persistence of showing up when enthusiasm fades. Running a marathon reshapes life as a system – how you eat, sleep, plan time, negotiate priorities. Work, family and training coexist only through conscious alignment.

A marathon is never about race day alone. It begins months earlier, with training that unfolds while life happens: bad weather, work crises, celebrations, injuries. Plans are tested constantly. Progress is rarely linear. Flexibility becomes just as important as discipline – adjusting without losing direction. Tracking effort matters more than chasing perfect outcomes.

Race day compresses all that work into a single moment. One finish line. One visible result. Performance depends on preparation and luck – and over time, you learn that these two are not opposites. The better the preparation, the more predictable the “luck”.

I often see the same dynamics in organisations working towards long-term strategic goals – their own version of a marathon. Moving from current shape to future shape requires change: honest self-assessment, a clear plan, consistency over time and leadership alignment around what truly matters. Context shifts. Assumptions break. The goal remains, but the route evolves.

Sometimes, that journey is easier with a partner – not to run instead of you, but to help you stay in motion. A partner who has seen the terrain before, who understands where plans typically fail, who keeps the focus on execution when energy drops, and who remains committed long after the excitement of starting has passed.

All the way to the finish line.

    That is my craft.

  • I am an artist. Not by profession, but by practice.
I grew up training as a ballerina. From early childhood, the focus was on form, discipline, technique - repetition, alignment, hours spent refining posture, balance, precision. Back then, it was not about freedom or expression – it was about structure. About earning control over the body before earning the right to let go. Authenticity and artistic freedom came later. Much later.

Every performance, every successful appearance on stage, is never an end point. Quite the opposite. After the applause, the work resumes: fine-tuning technique, correcting micro-movements, strengthening weak points, reworking structure. The better the performance, the higher the bar for what needs to change next. That rhythm never stops. It is the same in every art form – mastery is not static, it is maintained.

Over time, I began to see the same pattern in organisational transformation efforts. There is no such thing as a company that is “fully transformed.” Contexts change, markets shift, strategies evolve - and after every strong performance, another adjustment becomes necessary. But when the underlying structure is stable, when the technique is sound, when the organization has developed the required capability to adapt, to absorb impact, to strengthen rather than break under pressure – performance follows naturally.

That is why I work on structure.
    On capabilities.
    On skills.

    That is my craft.

Our Craft

SPARK is at the heart of our craft: a proprietary method that underpins how we design, align and deliver transformation.

It is a disciplined way of thinking and working that allows change in all its complexity to move forward with clarity and control.

We designed SPARK to systematically address the most critical challenges of transformation:

  • How to transform and perform at the same time?

  • How to align senior leaders and mobilize middle management around execution?

  • Where to begin and how to sustain momentum over time?

In the Scope phase, we take time to understand the organisation as it truly is.

We focus on: present state diligence, the true scale and magnitude of change, what is realistic - not ideal, expectations on timing, effort, and capacity, risks, constraints, and opportunities

This phase prevents false starts and overreach. It sets a foundation that allows execution.

In the Prioritise phase, we weigh impact and urgency to determine focus areas and sequence of events.

This includes: designing the transformation programme, identifying critical initiatives and their sequence, deciding what will not be done, establishing clear criteria for progress

This is where we set goals and establish plans. This later enables leadership to balance operational and transformational work.

In the Align phase, we work closely with leaders to create shared expectations and commitment across functions and levels.

This implies: senior leadership alignment workshops, middle management engagement programs, change capability alignment, incentive and accountability design.

This is a necessary step that will determine success of the transformation and long-term impact on organisational culture.

Change implementation happens through people, with middle management having a critical role. They require guidance and help in overcoming most common obstacles.

We assist by overseeing leadership accountability through transformation KPI framework, implementation coaching, structured feedback loops, adjusting course without losing momentum

This is where we craft change live, making it permanent.

Lasting change requires capability, not dependency. In the final phase, we focus on our apprentices within organisations, embedding change craft so it can continue without us.

This includes supporting the interplay between talent, culture and structure

We help organisations build the confidence, skills and systems required to sustain progress over time. Change becomes something the organisation owns.

In this way, we SPARK lasting change.
